The reconstructed apartment is located on Lorencova street in Zlín and is part of the Electric Houses that were built in the 1940s. The removal of the partition allowed to create a generous room of 32 m2, which connects the living room with the kitchen and dining room. A significant element of the entire reconstruction was the glass concrete, which completes the overall appearance of an otherwise clean space.
The task was to preserve the original wooden floor and design a functional spacious kitchen using a shade of white and gray in combination with wood. A distinctive geometric element on the ceiling is formed by the acknowledged cabling of the luminaires and revives an otherwise very clean and uniform space.
